Message from The School Head
It is really debatable whether if Mother Mary Kevin Kearney had not come to Uganda in 1902, our school would have been founded.
But what is not disputed is the fact that mother came to Uganda in 1902 with the aim of spreading Christianity and uplifting the welfare of the magnized societies through focusing on the girl child and mother which saw the building of schools and hospitals.
It is through this vision that resulted into the set up of schools like Namaginga Primary, Stella Maris Nsuube, Namilyango Boys and Girls, St Patrick Kigulu Girls and others of Cause our St Agnes Girls Catholic Primary School being the pioneer on all.
In 1922, in a very tiny compound with grass thatched facilities, St Agness opened door to start building and formatting girls in Uganda formidable women of today.
Initially the idea was a recruitment facility offering free education to girls aimed at serving God through fostering the church as Rev Sister bit due to demand from the community, it turned out to be a school for many.
With 100 years down the road, and more to come, we have continued to grow bigger day by day through the inspiration of our founder Mother Mary Kevin Kearny who is indelible in our school.
We have over the years natured many girls/women in Uganda and beyond to impact society.
As we celebrate a century of our existence, we pride our girls who have made us good and marketed us into the hearts of our parents by performing not only to their expectations but even beyond the imaginable.
Gratitude to God for enabling us continue impacting on girls who continue walking with truth before God and Man.
